Such a Disappointment
I bought the iPhone, iPad and Mac apps on Nov 2015. I managed to store at least 1400 recipes. The UI is OK, however, where it failed is the “search” function. It is beyond awful. You can only search for recipe if you know exactly what you are looking for. If you misspelled even one letter or added another letter or word that does not follow the exact description, you will receive “ZERO” result. It has no capability of searching for a particular “item/ingredient” in a recipe. You MUST spell the “TITLE” of the recipe accurately or you won’t be able to achieve any results from your search. The search function is very rudimentary. The “pantry” section is a freaking joke. It is excruciatingly limited. You can not add any item. You are stuck to what they already have in the database. I repeat, if you want to add items that aren’t in the database, you are SOL. You do not have the option to add any items on your pantry. The “pantry” feature is completely limited to “item” list only. It does not allow you to include feature/info such as quantity, expiration date, container size (weight such oz, grams, etc.). I repeat, if you have a can of tomato paste, you are only allowed to add “tomato paste.” You do not have any options to list how many cans or jars of tomato paste you have. Nor, you have an option to include info such as expiration date and the amount of tomato paste you have in your pantry.
Paprika isn’t ready for Prime Time.
