Not Worth the Money

I have been building a library of recipes now for a few years. When I purchased my Pro and came across Paprika I was very interested. I was put off by the price, but went forward. Now that I have worked with it, I don’t see how they justify the price. I first stumbled across the fact that you cannot import existing recipes you have in any number of different text formats … unless maybe you are a Unix programmer. I saw a blog post in Nov 2014 that indicated they were working on the ability to import recipes from various files formats. That was almost 18 months ago. Hello! That is not working on it. That is day dreaming.

Then I realized that once you input your recipes into Paprika, you can’t export them. If this app were $2-3 it would be worth. I can’t understand why so many people rated highly. The developer must have a lot of relatives.
